It's my birthday!
Is this my last year before middle age?
I figure 33-66 is middle age.
But when do I buy the porsche?
Is that at about 46? 47?
Hmmm....I am thinking I will need a boat instead.
I plan to take up sailing for my mid-life crisis.

Happy, happy birthday mama! You'll find, if you already haven't, the mid-life is full of surprises. Go with them allm and without trying to make sense of any.
Dec. 23: Actor Frederic Forrest ("Lonesome Dove") is 69. Actor James Stacy ("Lancer") is 69. Guitarist Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna) is 65. Drummer Ron Bushy of Iron Butterfly is 64. Actor-comedian Harry Shearer ("The Simpsons") is 62. Actress Susan Lucci ("All My Children") is 59. Guitarist Dave Murray of Iron Maiden is 49. Singer Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam is 41. Actor Corey Haim is 34.

Love from Sue and McGoo

I'm heading on to 35 myself (well, in five months) -- I think middle age may start at 40 -- but then I'll think it starts at 50. I swear I was 25 yesterday.

First- Sue and Magoo - I did not know Eddie Vedder and I shared a birthday. I felt more like a rock star that day because of it! I did however know about Susan Lucci and Corey Haim.

Morgan-Yes, math seems to change as we age. I didn't used to see the point of aging beyond 30. That has changed. Although, my friends' parents think it is interesting how the tables have turned. We are all raising kids and they have been partying like real rock stars all week, making cutting back on alcohol their New Years resolutions! Half of the time I don't even remember there is such a thing as alcohol! Too funny. SOmething to look forward to after 50 I suppose!
